I had read Romance of the Three Kingdoms and stories of the Monkey King when I was young. I was really into mythology, especially Greek mythology because that is my ethnicity and by Asian most particularly the Chinese. With a lack of better words and detail I was the kid everyone picked on. My father grew tired of it and I learned how to dance then, I was enrolled in Kung Fu. I took Wing Chun, Tai Chi and Wah Lum. I had always wanted to wear the authentic clothing from China but it was next to impossible to acquire. Especially, without the internet. Almost 15 years later I finally can have what I had been seeking for. I love your clothing and I do battle reenactments for the SCA (Society for Creative Anachrynism). When we have court, I am the only person dressed in Chinese clothing. I have many people comment on the articles of clothing I wear. I am greatly appreciative of all that you have created and your site. My next order, I am curious if you have an option for tipping the work team. You do great work and it stands up against beatings from rattan (solid bamboo) where other peoples clothing have ripped. Not all of the time but when you are combating you are putting a toll on your clothing. In conclusion, I stand proud by the clothing you have made for me and how well it fits me. I was skeptical at first... However, I am a man that believes in facts and the fact of the matter is your clothing does very well with what I do. Thank you for reading my email. When I went back to Japan on the 11th the earthquake happened and lost communications. Turns out my girlfriend was going back to China. Re: CC1983 Order remade in Herringbone Twill. All 3 pieces finally arrived after the usual lengthy wait in Canadian Customs.
This uniform is superb and very well constructed. It is a perfect fit after careful washing, etc. The black folded cuffs really set it off, very classy indeed—love it!
The heavy herringbone twill fabric will last for years and will be excellent for Taijiquan training on those colder days.
